The Local Government Unit of Sta. Cruz successfully conducted the 1st Implementation of the ANAK Project in Barangay Pilar through a Coastal Clean-up Drive and Mangrove Planting, Feeding Program, and Sandaang Lapis para sa Sandaang Mag-aaral.

The activity resulted in the planting of 300 mangrove saplings, the collection of five (5) sacks of waste, and benefited 179 children through nutrition and educational support.

This initiative was made possible through the collaborative efforts of DSWD 4Ps, AFP, PNP, BFP, PCG, Barangay Officials, BNS, MNAO, and the Pilar 4Ps Parent Group, demonstrating the Municipality’s commitment to environmental protection, child welfare, and community development.
