The Local Government Unit of Sta. Cruz underwent the rigorous Siglat Gobierno Lokal Validation on July 20 as part of the Ilocos Sur Siglat Festival 2026, which highlights excellence in local governance and development across the province.
Spearheaded by Municipal Administrator Angelica Marie C. Valle, the LGU was evaluated in 10 key areas of development by validators from the Provincial Government of Ilocos Sur and the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Ilocos Sur.
The administrator expressed the municipalityβs confidence in achieving another successful validation result, emphasizing that good governance, transparency, accountability, and quality public service have long been embedded in the culture of the institution.
Sta. Cruz is now looking forward to receiving its third consecutive Siglat Gobierno Lokal Seal, having consistently passed the same validation process since 2024
