The Local Government Unit of Sta. Cruz facilitated the distribution of financial assistance under the Presidential Assistance to Farmers and Fisherfolk Program (PAFFP) to qualified farmers who were unable to claim their assistance during the initial distribution conducted by the Department of Agriculture Regional Field Office 1 (DA-RFO 1).

A total of 157 farmers from Sta. Cruz benefited from the program, with each beneficiary receiving ₱2,325.00 in financial assistance.

The assistance aims to help ease the burden of rising production costs and address the ongoing economic challenges faced by our farmers, particularly amid increasing fuel prices.
